The purpose of Safehome’s domestic violence shelter near you in Johnson County, KS is to offer a safe space for survivors to heal from intimate partner abuse. The Safehome shelter location is confidential to protect the safety of our clients.
With 60 beds available, our shelter’s confidential and healing atmosphere is intentional, to empower survivors and their children to make steps towards a life free of abuse. More than 300 survivors and their children find safety, help, and hope at our shelter every year. All services are free & available to any individual who is experiencing intimate partner abuse.

About Us
Safehome is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of intimate partner abuse in our community.
We offer free services, including a 24-hour hotline, shelter, individual and group counseling, and court and legal assistance. Through these programs, approximately 8,000 individuals each year receive the support they need to live independent and violence-free lives. Since 1980, our vision has been the same- to empower survivors and their children to live a life free of domestic violence.
