The goal of Safehome’s court and legal services is to is to support survivors within the legal system. Safehome helps survivors understand the criminal legal process and file protection orders.
We are the only intimate partner abuse agency in Kansas and the Kansas City Metro area to have a full-time attorney on staff. Court & Legal Services Include:

About Us
Safehome is a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of intimate partner abuse in our community.
We offer free services, including shelter, individual and group counseling, court and legal support, and other community programs. Through these programs, approximately 8,000 individuals each year receive the support they need to live independent and violence-free lives. Our vision, since 1980, is to empower survivors and their children to live a life free of intimate partner abuse.
