Open Support Group
Have you been feeling isolated? Open Support Groups are back via Zoom!
Group members have the opportunity to connect with one another through empathy, support, and shared experiences while learning about topics related to domestic violence. Our Open Support Group takes place every Monday at 5pm.

Benefits

You can continue building skills and awareness to support your healing.

We can meet as a group without potential exposure to COVID-19.

You can learn with and from other people.

You’ll be able to connect to other people who have similar experiences.
Responsibilities

To keep confidential the identities of group members and all that they share.

To connect with both video and audio.

To set up your environment to be as private and as free as interruptions as possible. This includes no phone calls, emails or texting. Consider moving pets from the space.

To connect from the same place each session, unless you are away and notify us of the change.
Rights

Use a fictitious name or only an initial as on-screen identification.

To request a group facilitator contact you to debrief within 24 business hours of group.

Temporarily leave the group should you feel unsafe or have a need to take care of.

Withdraw from the group.
